About ExxonMobil in New Mexico
New Mexico is a key part of ExxonMobil’s Permian Basin portfolio. Operating primarily in Eddy and Lea Counties, we have drilled and completed more than 1,000 horizontal wells in the Delaware Basin since 2017, helping meet energy demand while strengthening local communities. In 2026, we completed the installation of continuous methane monitoring on all of our key assets in New Mexico. This moves us closer to our Permian Net Zero ambition.
